Editorial work

Some of my first work at Groundswell Cloud Solution was editing other peoples work. Often times personal for recruiting audiences.

Editing stories is a delicate yet crucial process that requires attention, skill, and most importantly, respect for the author's intent. As an editor, my role is not to impose my own ideas or alter the narrative voice, but rather to enhance the story while preserving the unique essence crafted by the author. Through careful consideration and collaboration, I strive to maintain the author's vision and ensure that every word and sentence contributes to the overall purpose and impact of the story. By upholding the author's intent, I help to create a polished and engaging piece that remains faithful to the original work, while still benefiting from the refinement and clarity that the editing process brings.

For example, in My Journey to Canada we wanted others who might not be as strong with the English language to gain meaning out of it for recruitment purposes. The technical recruiter saw lots of direct traffic from Tushar’s original piece and good quality candidates all thanks to my editing skills. It’s moments of collaboration like these which I cherish and love seeing how they make an impact.

I wrote a lot for Groundswell Cloud Solutions but two pieces I would like to highlight are:
